Meet the CHS Staff Family:

Kerri-Lynne is one of our Administrative Assistants joining the staff at CHS in July of 2023, after being a full-time mom and domestic engineer for nearly 9 years.       

                                                                                        

Originally from Hawaii, she grew up as a U.S. Air Force military child, spending her formative years in The Pacific Rim, including Anchorage, Alaska; Tokyo, Japan; and Northern California.  It was there that she was found either dancing the hula to celebrate her Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) heritage, singing with her parents in the church wing chapel choir, or leading the congregation’s children’s choir in song and praise of our Lord, Jesus Christ.                                                                                                          

After earning her Associate Degree in Computer Business Administration from Heald College – Roseville, she married her high school sweetheart, Shawn, over 18 years ago.  Together, they have three children, Isralyn, Jacob, and Asher.  It was the allure of the 4 individual seasons that brought their family to Roanoke from the Pacific in 2018.  For this, she holds Ecclesiastes 3:1 (ESV) so close to her heart…For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:                                                                                                                                                                  

Kerri-Lynne takes pleasure in assisting the CHS staff with preparing to celebrate the liturgy every week, and she considers it an honor to serve the parishioners at CHS.
