CHS members have been sponsoring children through Compassion since 2007. In March of 2023, our last Compassion Sunday, we were thrilled to get another 67 children sponsored. Currently, our members sponsor 717 children, helping to release them from the cycle of poverty in Jesus’ name.
$15,000 Matching Grant to Build 3 Compassion Classrooms
Please click below to watch this special message from Bishop Francis of Cyangugu diocese in Rwanda. He and Bishop Nathan have partnered with CHS to build 3 schools, thus allowing Compassion International to partner with the churches there. Now Compassion would like to partner with another church there, but they are needing $30,000 to build 3 classrooms. A generous donor has offered a $15,000 matching grant so we only need to raise $15,000 more.
