CHS Men's Retreat 2024

Registration Now Open for 2024!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Camp Easterseals, 60-minute drive from Roanoke, near Fincastle, VA
  • Speaker: Dave Anderson, PhD
  • Food: cooked by Bruce Lowe and the boyz
  • Worship led by the CHS Men’s worship team
  • Saturday afternoon free time: hiking, fishing, golf, chillin’ times, cigars around the campfire, canoeing,
  • Theme ~ My Life…God’s Story
  • COST: $40 – $110 (single rooms cost more and are limited to 1st sign-ups)
  • HOUSING: You can tent camp, hammock camp, stay in dorm-style cabins or first come first serve for single rooms
  • $40 for hammock and tent (brought by you)
  • $100 for dorm style cabins
  • $110 for single rooms (first come first sign-up for these rooms, they go fast)

    • LOCATION:   Camp Easterseals in New Castle, VA
    • OR Put the below address in your GPS: Camp Easterseals Virginia, 900 Camp Easter Seals Rd., New Castle, VA 24127 (about 60-minute drive from CHS)

      TIMES: 

      • Friday May 3rd (come any time after 3 pm, we will officially start with dinner @ 7 pm)   
        • Come early to fish, chill out, nap, kayak, canoe, etc.
      • Sunday May 5th (Ending @ 12 noon)

        WHAT TO BRING?

        • 1 Junk Food item to share with guys (I’m bringing Sour Patch Kids, score!!)
        • 1 small pack of waters to share with guys
        • Sleeping bag or bed sheets, blanket, etc. for your bedding needs
        • Pillow
        • Bathroom towel
        • Camping chair/beach chair (this is mandatory, don’t forget this)
        • Bathroom shower supplies
        • Fishing gear if you want to fish

             

            • Bathing suit if you are going swimming in the river
            • Sunscreen
            • Rain jacket if the rain indeed arrives
            • Golf clubs if you’re going golfing
            • Bug Spray
            • Warm clothes for outdoor sessions at night and if the rain arrives.
            • Flashlight or headlamp, it can get really dark there at night.
            • Hiking boots
